Our AC unit completely shut down- Black screen on our thermostat. I called Russet and they sent someone out the very same day! Jose B was awesome and although the problem isn’t fixed yet, he has the part ordered and the appt to install the new thermostat is also set the very next day! Very good customer service- was on the phone setting the appt after 7pm! Thank you Russet!!

Adam H showed up when he said he would, and did some tests to figure out our a/c problem. He’s extremely knowledgeable and can explain what he’s doing and the results of diagnostic tests. Great service, will definitely call again if needed.

We bought a Lennox 16XC x 2 in 8/2016 for up and downstairs and was been happy with install/servicing. 2024 Both motors died in the summer under warranty. There was a quick response/eval and though the diagnostic was a challenge but eventually they figured out the issues. While we waited for ordered parts, they provided an emergency mobile AC unit to bridge when both died at the same time. They appeared to prioritize our fix to get us back to sleeping in our own rooms again. 6/2025 On a routine service, an oil leak was noted in the upstairs unit which led to discovery of a coolant leak. Estimate to replace under warranty was 3100 due to estimated 4lb of coolant and needing 2 techs to remove the unit to complete the coil replacement. While very disappointed in the high cost while under warranty, they were professional, timely, and thorough. Would recommend.

Our unit, 23 years old, started acting up. Had technician Demetrius come out and it was determined it was our compressor which would have been thousands to replace. Cody came out to give us an estimate and we’ve decided to replace both of our systems. Crew came out at scheduled time and worked real hard all day, answering all of our questions. Aaron Garza of Russett installed our new heating and air conditioning system yesterday (6/10/25). He is knowledgeable, efficient and personable. He was respectful of our house, our time, and our comfort. He answered questions clearly. Aaron and his partner did a great job with the installation and duct cleaning. Furthermore, they did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was done. Aaron is a real asset to the Russett team.

Russett is amazing! They were able to come out within less than 24 hours. Adam "the attic man" was tremendously thorough and took his time explaining everything in detail. I'm very pleased with the service provided by Russett today, and with Manny in particular. He impressed me first by letting me know when he'd arrive and being on time. He was respectful of my home by using footies every time he was indoors. This being a semi-annual maintenance visit, he checked the outdoor unit electrically and cleaned the coils. Inside, he verified the condensate drains, cooling output, and cleaned the filters. He's also a pretty nice guy. My experience with Russett goes back 8 years and I continue to be happy with them.

I am new to AC having been an evap cooler gal all my life. Coolers are simple; ACs are anything but. I just bought a house with AC and the previous owners recommended that I continue service with Russett Southwest. Had my first maintenance check and Hector was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, did a thorough check and, most importantly to a newbie like me, did not try to sell me something I don't need. He mentioned some things I may need to do down the road but nothing today. I will be requesting him for my next maintenance check.

What a great company! Tristan was very professional, on time, explained everything he was doing and the option for a maintenance plan. My neighbor saw the truck and told me they have used Russett for many years and are completely satisfied. I was referred to them by the home inspector I used when my home was built.

Our HVAC unit went offline last night. I called in my problem at 715 am, Caleb called back within 10 minutes to get the details and Demetrius was onsite by 830. The problem was quickly identified and resolved. Both guys were professional and efficient and I was very pleased.

I bought my heat pump and had it installed by Russett SW. Before I did that, I did a LOT of checking with multiple HVAC companies. Southwest was one of only two companies that worked with me to ensure that the heat pump I bought met the federal and TEP requirements for tax credits. Saved me over $2000. Twice, they have proactively called to tell me when the regular maintenance checks were due and scheduled them. No charge. Then, recently, when the cooling didn't seem to be working correctly, they had someone come out the next day. He found a part that wasn't working, replaced it, made sure the heat pump was working with the wifi thermostat correctly, and all has been good since. A few days ago, Luke came out for the second regular maintenance check. He spent a great deal of time on the roof, made sure that the heat pump was doing what it's supposed to (I have a long checklist of what was checked although I don't understand it), explained to me that all was good, and made sure that the wifi thermostat was communicating with the heat pump properly. All in all, I've been more than pleased with the service I've had from Russett Southwest and highly recommend them.

This company responded within 24 hours of a call for service. Further evaluation indicated we would need a new heating/air conditioner; the sales rep, Larry, made immediate follow-up appt to explain in detail the reason replacement was recommended They were exceedingly accommodating on installation date. Isaac Ridley and Taylor Musacchia arrived the day installation was scheduled, were very professional, efficient. The job was completed, all the old parts were removed and we frankly hardly knew they had come and gone. No gimmicks, no strong arm sales; just good old fashioned service with a smile.

During the 10+ years that I've been a Russett Southwest customer, I have been consistently pleased with the exceptional customer service and highly skilled, knowledgeable, professional and courteous technicians. This company is trustworthy, responsive, honest, and highly reputable. Today's visit required a comprehensive diagnosis of my 6-year-old a/c system to determine the source of an intermittent, elusive, subtle musty odor whenever the a/c came on. Hector, the technician, was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, skilled, and courteous. He cleaned the coils in the air handler, took pressure readings, checked the refrigerant level and condensate drainage, etc. He explained what he was doing along the way, patiently answered my questions, and made a few suggestions of minor DIY maintenance that I could do myself between maintenance appointments. As a senior on a fixed income, I especially appreciated the fair, reasonable cost, with no up-selling involved. As always, I am beyond grateful to Russett Southwest and its awesome team for going above and beyond!

We replaced both of our 20-year-old HVAC systems. One was starting to fail and neither was very efficient. Russett replaced them with new energy efficient Lennox units and arranged for the applicable TEP rebates. We met with Cody and received a bid we considered good value for money on Monday and Russett was able to schedule the work for that Friday. Work was completed by early afternoon by a highly energetic four-man crew of Aaron, Zion, Emilio, and Anthony. To a person, everyone was very pleasant to deal with and chatted with us along the way. They work steadily start to finish, cleaned up the work area, took away the old units, tested the new units, and explained what they had done and how to use the updated thermostats. Russett also does our routine maintenance and everyone they send out is both professional and friendly. The company culture obviously encourages their technicians to be courteous, patient, helpful, and enjoyable to deal with, as well as technically proficient. We highly recommend the company and its people and give them five stars. Here's a picture of the happy crew in front of the new units.

Russett was significantly less expensive than the other quotes we received. They were the only company who took measurements during the estimate and found that they would have to cut a hole in our ceiling to get the unit into the attic and let us know at the time of quoting the job. Sometimes installs have unexpected issues and we did have a few but they made things right. It was refreshing to have a company work hard to make everything right. I would highly recommend Russett. Tristan is the only technician I want as he found things others missed.

Excellent service performed today by Tristan on our Lennox A/C unit. We contact Russett approximately every six months to check on our system to ensure it maintains its efficiency. The visit above found a refrigerant leak and the condensing coil needed to be replaced. The part was ordered the next day; the new coil was replaced the following day by two great technicians. We’re now up-and-running again in this unexpected heat wave. Thank you, Russett!
