Indoor Air Quality
There are many different facets of indoor air quality. Russett Southwest prides itself on being one of the first of our industry to recognize and design systems that promote healthy living. The designs, installations and comprehensive testing are performed under the guidance of an IEP (Indoor Environmental Professional).
Indoor Air Quality for New Homes
Homes designed and installed by Russett Southwest after October, 1996 include the standards and guidelines of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc.) Standard 62.2 “Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality In Low Rise Residential Buildings.” Patented air exchange methods are integrated into the designs and installations.
Every new home designed and installed by Russett Southwest is comprehensively tested, pre occupancy by an independent third party company. We ensure compliance to design standards and guidelines under the guidance of a certified Energy Star tester.
For homes that do not have heating and air conditioning installed by Russett Southwest, we provide a comprehensive pre-occupancy inspection and testing program. This program complies with the standards and guidelines of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc.) Standard 62.2 “Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality In Low Rise Residential Buildings.”
All homes that are pre-occupancy tested qualify for reduced pricing for any Indoor Air Quality inspection, testing and assessment services inclusive of mold.
